Introducing Visible! – a new money service for women
31 Oct, 2022
Today, the Boring Money team proudly present Visible! – a new service to help the millions of women who say they feel invisible and ignored when it comes to advice, investments and pensions.
599 billion reasons to do better
Holly - who launched sister site Boring Money in 2015 - says: “The Gender Investment Gap is currently a whopping £599 billion. That’s 599 billion reasons to do a better job about helping women to manage their money better. Visible! offers courses, forums and practical help, bringing together the collective wisdom of industry experts, advisers and other women who have been there, done that and got the T-shirt.”

Visible! is focussed on women in their 40s, 50s and 60s and aims to tackle head-on taboos around talking about money. There will be a forum where women can exchange ideas and ask the money questions they have never known who or how to ask, all in a trusted and supportive environment, with expert advisers on hand to help. Collaboration and relevance are at the heart of what has been built.
Holly says: “Money shouldn’t be a taboo subject. It’s important we all understand it to make the most of what we earn, especially in the middle of a cost of living crisis. Our aim is to provide women with the support, information and the contacts to empower them to make the best financial decisions they can.”
A four-in-one service
Visible! is a four-in-one service designed to educate and inform women through online courses, forums, women’s real life stories and a panel of female financial advisors.
*Courses *Forums *Messy Life Stuff *Experts
Its content section - called “Messy Life Stuff” - will initially focus on six life experiences from being a parent to going through divorce; dealing with life-changing health problems to being a single parent; or being an empty-nester to looking after an ageing parent. Visible! has an online ‘advisory’ group of 450 women who as Founder Members have shared their views and issues with Holly and her team. The Founder Members shaped the Messy Life Stuff and the course structure, asking for bite-sized content chunks and audio content to fit in with the hectic, mobile lives women have today.
